The second part of this mini-webinar series on forensic interviews was held on 7 March, at 2pm CET. It presented strategies and approaches to meeting the individual needs of every child, and ensuring equitable access to child-friendly justice by including adaptations for children with disabilities or language barriers (eg. interpretation). The webinar also discussed adapting interviews for different age groups and what can be expected from children of different ages.
The first discussion on the importance of forensic interviews for child victims and witnesses of violence in criminal proceedings was held on 14 February – the recording is available here!
The third session in this mini-series will be held on 14 March and will address preventing re-victimization when conducting forensic interviews at the Barnahus.
