The Alliance Launches Inter-agency Initiative on Community Volunteers and Case Management

27 Nov 2019

The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action

The Community Based Child Protection Task Force (CBCP TF) and the Case Management Task Force (CM TF) under the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action are launching a new inter-agency initiative to explore:

  1. The roles community volunteers play within the case management process
  2. The capacities and limitations of community volunteers to respond to child protection risks

The initiative is generously funded by USAID/OFDA to Plan International USA.

Based on this learning, new tools and resources will be developed in order to create practical guidance that will be disseminated broadly through the Alliance and our partners. Follow CBCP TF and the Alliance website to learn about the progress. We look forward to engaging and sharing further about this exciting project!
