In 2016 Save the Children with support from the IKEA Foundation has launched a new Child Protection in Emergencies Professional Development Programme (CPiE PDP), designed to enhance the skills, knowledge and behaviours required of child protection in emergencies response staff (to know more see: https://resourcecentre.savethechildren.net/document-collections/child-protection-emergencies-professional-development-programme).
Save the Children aims to explore potential to implement the Programme in the West and Central Africa region including Mauritania, and for this reason we seek your support. In order to inform on learning needs and format of a potential CPiE capacity building Programme for the region, Save the Children needs to identify relevant CPiE capacity gaps.
For this reason, Save the Children opened an online survey at the below link, that will remain accessible from 11 to 24 December 2019 (both included): https://it.surveymonkey.com/r/P7FN269
The focus is on CPiE national professionals with 3 to 5 years of professional experience:
If you have less than 3 years of CP/CPiE experience, we kindly ask you not to take the survey.
If you have more than 6 years of CP/CPiE experience, please complete the survey questions based on what you believe to be the competency level of an average CPiE national professional with 3-5 years of experience.
If you have 3-5 years of CP/CPiE experience, please answer the survey questions based on your own CPiE competencies.
This survey is available only for CP/CPiE specialists nationals of or working in any of the countries in the West and Central Africa region and Mauritania.
