The Learning and Development Working Group (L&D WG) of the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (the Alliance) would like to welcome Marion Prats as their Acting Focal Point.
Marion started working in the Child Protection sector with UNICEF in 2011, first in the TACRO Regional Office and then in CAR. Since then, she has supported the roll out of the CPMS in Spanish, served as regional CPWG focal point, and worked in sub-cluster coordination. She’s also been actively involved with trainings, facilitation and learning initiatives for those regions. In 2014, she joined Terre des Hommes Lausanne as a Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) Specialist. In this new role, she followed a large portfolio of emergency countries and participated in interagency developments at the global level. Since 2018, Marion has worked as consultant. Recently she contributed to the development and piloting of the new UASC TF Training Package for the L&D Working Group.
