UASC Training of Trainers Rolls Out in Ethiopia

17 Sep 2019
The Alliance

The Field Handbook on Unaccompanied and Separated Children and its accompanying toolkit was rolled out in Ethiopia from September 16-20, 2019. Both resources were developed by the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action's Task Force on Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC).

The training of trainers was facilitated by the global Child Protection Area of Responsibility and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Participants included representatives from local organizations, I/NGOs, UN agencies and the Government. Also represented were member agencies of the UASC Task Force, including Save The Children, World Vision and UNICEF.
