Publication type:
Manuals, Toolkits and Guidance

We are thrilled to share a new INEE Technical Note on Education during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This 20-page practitioner-oriented publication is designed as a living document that will be updated in response to changes in the learning and wellbeing needs of children, adolescents, youth, teachers, caregivers and other education personnel affected by COVID-19.

The Technical Note relies on the INEE Minimum Standards for Education: Preparedness, Response, and Recovery as the global framework for delivering quality education in emergencies (EiE). There are five sections of the Technical Note, aligned with the various phases of response to the pandemic. Key actions, suggested tasks, and practical resources are highlighted throughout.

Download the Technical Note for full details.

We ask for your support and feedback on your use of this Technical Note, the INEE Minimum Standards, and other EiE resources in the context of COVID-19. Please share feedback or resources with INEE by emailing covid-19@inee.org

This resource is currently available in English, with translations to Arabic, French, Portuguese, and Spanish in progress.

Visit the INEE website regularly for resources, opportunities, and information - in English, Arabic, French, Spanish, and Portuguese - about education delivery during COVID-19.
