The 2nd edition of the CPMS will reflect and address the realities and challenges around child protection in today’s humanitarian settings. This includes the unprecedented 65.6 million people who are forcibly displaced, over half of whom are under 18. This brief provides an overview of the revision process.
Participatory and inclusive consultation and drafting processes will include a wider range of local and nontraditional humanitarian actors. By including all the latest evidence, the new edition will give child protection workers and others an essential tool for quality programming.
