Sense International - Kenya is currently looking for a consultant to produce videos for the project dubbed, Learning for All: 'Inclusive Education for Learners with complex disabilities in Kenya’.

Parents often play a critical role especially in providing day to day learning for those learners who are still in the home environment as they prepare to transit to school. Through this project, we will therefore develop videos with various rubrics for parents/guardians including: How to apply for social protection grants, how to apply basic emotional transformation therapy on themselves, child protection, safeguarding, nutrition and gender issues.

The consultant will:

A. Lead a team of experts in developing video content for the following thematic areas:

· Child protection and safeguarding

· Health and nutrition

· Gender issues

· How to apply for social protection grants

· Emotional therapy

B. Consolidate the content developed above into scripts for video production

C. Do filming and production of videos for the above content

Skills and qualifications of the consultant:

· Significant knowledge and experience around the thematic areas mentioned above

· Good knowledge of disability issues

· Excellent written and spoken English and Kiswahili

· Demonstrated experience in documenting and producing videos for development related work

· Good listening and communication skills, respect for diversity and willingness to travel different parts of the country

The consultant should be FULLY available for this work between the dates of 5th February 2020 to 13th March 2020

How to apply:

The consultant who meets the above requirements should submit the following:

· A proposal detailing their understanding of the ToR

· An elaborate methodology on how he/she will conduct the activity

· A detailed work plan

· A capacity statement indicating relevant qualification, skills, experience in similar consultancies as well as full details of three referees

· Your availability for the consultancy work within the duration indicated herein

· An indicative budget
