Summary and Organization Relation:
The Project Officer will support Maram Foundation Education and Protection programming in Syria in the overall monitoring of the Education & Protection portfolio that focuses on enhancing quality Education and Child Protection of IDPs in Northern Syria.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1- Follow up and track the progresses of all Education and CP program activities to ensure smooth implementation of activities.
2- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained for Edu & CP activities and that data generated through field activities is updated on a daily basis on centralized records and stored securely.
3- Support the project team by coordinating with procurement, Logistic and HR teams.
4- Preparation and writing of weekly, quarterly and final reports under the supervision of the Program Manager.
5- Provide technical assistant for field staff inter of Edu & CP related matters (ALP, Remedial Edu and CP).
6- Provide training for field staff about BTL Campaigns and encourage out of school students to be enrolled in the education.
7- Other related tasks at the request by your line manager.
1- Bachelor/ master degree in studies related with job description.
2- Excellent Non-formal educational skills.
3- Total of three years of relevant experience, two of which must be NGO experience.
4- Excellent report writing skills in English and Arabic.
5- Excellent communication, inter-personal, and problem solving skills.
6- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
7- Experience working in a humanitarian/Edu & CP projects.
8- Able to collaborate effectively with staff and stakeholders.
