Online child sexual exploitation is a global crime that requires a coordinated global response, particularly at a time when children and offenders are spending more time online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The WePROTECT Global Alliance (WPGA) brings together a coalition of 97 governments, 31 civil society organizations, and 28 technology companies to tackle this global crime and collaborate on solutions. In recognition of the risks that these new circumstances can pose to children, the WPGA has worked with its members to publish an intelligence brief on the impact of COVID-19 on online child sexual exploitation. The brief can be read HERE.
Please join Iain Drennan, Executive Director of the WePROTECT Global Alliance, as he sets out the intelligence brief's sobering conclusions and explains how it is more important than ever for the global community to work together to ensure children are kept safe online.
