Concepts for Community Programmes (CCP) is a national non-profit humanitarian and development organization dedicated to working with communities to reach their full potential. Founded in 2011, CCP works across all the Federal states of Somalia promoting social cohesion and empowering communities to tackle the causes of poverty and injustice. We provide humanitarian assistance to families affected by disaster & conflict while partnering with communities for long-term goals for durable solutions that are community-led and owned. Motivated by the potential in the communities we work with, we optimize their role to foster peaceful co-existence and economic empowerment in Somalia. We work primarily within communities and regions ranked as high priority by the UNOCHA Humanitarian needs overview report. CCP implements emergency response programs as well as long-term development programs in the areas of livelihoods, Reintegration, Women/ youth economic empowerment, Health, Protection, Climate change, and Education.
