Laissez l'Afrique Vivre (LAV)

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world
- Nelson Mandela

We believe that one of the most important keys to peace and development is education. We support projects that provide schooling to the poor and orphans in the Republic of Congo. In Bukavu, DR Congo, Laissez L'Afrique Vivre runs an important work for former child soldiers. There is a vocational school and internship for single women who have been subjected to gross abuse. The women have children after being raped by soldiers. Now they are safe and receive treatment, help and schooling.

At the vocational school there are many different lines. There they can get certificates such as tailor, mechanic, carpenter, hotel subjects, etc.
