We Are Hiring: Strategy Development Consultant

The Alliance is seeking an experienced Strategy Development Consultant to lead the development of the Alliance's next strategic framework, which will guide our work from 2027 onwards.

As the humanitarian landscape continues to evolve—with escalating crises, shrinking protection space, funding pressures, and increasing commitments to localisation—the Alliance is looking for a consultant to facilitate a highly participatory strategy development process. Working closely with Alliance members, technical groups, partners, and stakeholders, the consultant will help assess the changing needs of the child protection in humanitarian action sector and shape the Alliance's future strategic direction.

This consultancy offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of the Alliance by helping define its role, priorities, and value proposition over the next three to five years.

We are looking for a consultant with significant experience in strategic planning, facilitating organisational or network strategy development processes, and working within humanitarian and multi-stakeholder contexts. Experience with global networks and a strong understanding of child protection in humanitarian action are highly desirable.
