2025 Annual Report | The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action

The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (the Alliance) is a global network that facilitates inter-agency technical collaboration on child protection in all humanitarian contexts. This 2025 Annual Report provides an overview of the Alliance’s activities, achievements, and progress under the Strategic Brief (May 2025–December 2026): Prioritising Protection of Children in a Changing Humanitarian Landscape and its implementation plan.

In 2025, amid significant funding reductions and changes across the humanitarian system, the Alliance continued to provide technical leadership, strengthen practitioner capacity, advance evidence-informed advocacy, and bring members together to respond to emerging challenges. 

The Alliance’s membership grew to 356 organisations, with 78% representing national and local organisations, reflecting its increasingly diverse and locally rooted global network.
