JOB PURPOSE:
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly implementation plans for the project in collaboration with the project manager and other team members and share them with all departments.
- Provide necessary support for the case management team through direct supervision, providing advice to the case management team in addition to protection and management responsibilities.
- Ensure that the case management system is working according to approved procedures and mechanisms and has an updated database, a specific mechanism for tracking referral pathways and information sharing protocols.
- Facilitate case management training for case management teams and other relevant employees as needed.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports issued by field teams, compile them, and submit them to the direct manager.
- Manage beneficiary registration and data collection.
- Lead the process of collecting required documents from BNFs.
- Lead the distribution team and manage the distribution process.
- Monitor the activities carried out by the team.
- Report any case among the beneficiaries that requires special attention.
- Work on developing the team’s skills to benefit project goals.
- Contribute to developing approved curricula within activities by referring to the project manager.
- Ensure an appropriate environment for carrying out required activities.
- Prepare logistical needs for any activity.
- Follow up on referrals for complex child protection cases.
- Participate in coordinating regular meetings related to case management.
- Ensure that all relevant case files are updated, documented according to best practices, maintain an updated database on a daily basis, and share it with the direct manager.
- Participate in evaluating new services and planning to develop the program along with the technical supervisor and protection officer.
- Work as a Focal Point for communication and cooperation with other Islamic Relief employees and external actors in the workplace.
- Perform any other duties required by supervisors.
Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications:
- University degree or institute in social sciences or psychological counseling or related to this subject.
- At least two years' experience in case management and psychosocial support with other humanitarian organizations.
- At least two years of experience in implementing and managing child protection program teams.
- Self-motivated and initiative with a high level of energy.
- Commitment to human rights and community approach
- Strong knowledge and commitment to humanitarian work standards.
- Ability to work within a team under pressure and respond to changing needs.
- Priority for applicants within the work areas.
Language:
- Excellent level in English
- fluent in Arabic (written and spoken).
IT Skills:
- Excellent computer skills .
- Proficiency in the internet and search tools.
- Proficiency in MS office (Excel, power point and word)
