Türkiye: Case Worker - Gaziantep & Hatay

The Opportunity: 

Under the overall supervision of Case Management Officer, the Case Management Assistant (Case Worker) will be in charge of case management process; including identification, assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and case closure. The CMA is expected to adhere to the agreed upon Standard Operations Procedures of case management.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

Essential:

  • At least 2 year experience within a development/humanitarian organization and at least 1 year experience in the field of Case Management or child protection in general.
  • Bachelor Degree in social work, sociology, or another relevant discipline.
  • Knowledge on child protection, case management, child rights and emergency response.
  • Experience working with vulnerable and at-risk groups
  • Experience in managing field staff
  • Experience in providing/ facilitating training, meeting
  • Good working knowledge on using MS Office, and internet
  • Fluent in written and spoken Turkish

Desired:

  • Experience in humanitarian context in child protection case management
  • Knowledge and understanding of inter-agency standards and guidelines in child protection, including the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action.
  • Language skills in English, Arabic and Kurdish will be assets

Position holder will be based in Gaziantep or Hatay, therefore legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis.
