Mandato a ser responsables para y por la niñez:

La iniciativa sobre la rendición de cuentas a la niñez tiene como meta que todos los programas humanitarios cumplan con una rendición de cuentas a la niñez y que aseguren una participación equitativa y que les dé sentido en acorde a las capacidades evolutivas de cada uno, según se define en la Convención de los derechos del niño. El grupo asesor sobre la rendición de cuentas a la niñez dirige esta iniciativa que está compuesta de organizaciones que operan en el espacio humanitario y quienes aconsejarán sobre el proceso y los elementos técnicos que son necesarios para lograr los objetivos sobre la rendición de cuentas propuestas en el plan estratégico 2021-2025 de la Alianza.

Objetivos:

Rendir de cuentas a la niñez es una prioridad estratégica de la Alianza desde 2021 al 2025. Durante este período, la Rendición de cuentas a la niñez tratará de lograr:

  • Desarrollar y llevar a cabo el plan estratégico sobre la rendición de cuentas de la Alianza
  • Determinar cómo se llevará cabo la promoción sobre la rendición de cuentas con un fuerte enfoque en la protección de la niñez, en colaboración con otras partes interesadas del sistema humanitaria, que incluyen a donantes
  • Que la Alianza se dedique de manera eficaz en iniciativas mundiales sobre la rendición de cuentas a la niñez;
  • Dar prioridad y recaudar fondos para que la Alianza pueda tomar acciones específicas a la rendición de cuentas
  • Mejorar la rendición de cuentas en las estructuras, mecanismos de gobernanza y productos de la misma Alianza
