HNPW 2026 | Children and Young People Tell Us What They Need. Response plans reflect some of what they said. Funding reflects none of it.
On behalf of the Global Education Cluster, the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, the Geneva Global Hub for Education in Emergencies, the Norwegian Refugee Council, Plan International, and Save the Children, we have the pleasure of inviting you to the session Children and young people tell us what they need. Response plans reflect some of what they said. Funding reflects none of it at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Weeks 2026.
The session will take place on Tuesday, 10 March, 14:00 – 15:30 CET at the International Conference Centre Geneva (Room Montreux) and online. Please register here for in-person and online participation.
The session aims to support humanitarian decision makers to better understand why accountability to children and young people is not optional but essential for principled, accountable and high-quality humanitarian action and how to ensure children and young people are meaningfully included. It will feature findings from a multi-agency and multi-sectoral study that analysed 24 published consultations held with children, adolescents and youth, as well as interventions from child and youth speakers.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to this session.
