The Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action invites you to join us at Humanitarian Networks and Partnerships Week (HNPW) 2025. HNPW is one of the world’s largest humanitarian events, bringing together UN agencies, Member States, civil society, private sector actors, and academia from across humanitarian sectors to strengthen collaboration and improve prevention and response in humanitarian settings.

This year, the Alliance is leading two hybrid events that will explore critical issues in child protection and humanitarian action. We encourage you to attend and share this invitation with your colleagues and networks!

The Alliance-Led Events at HNPW 2025:

1) Driving People and Child-centred Humanitarian Action: Evidence, Tools, and Lessons from Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Moldova, and Myanmar
🗓 24 March | 16:00 - 17:30 CET | 📍Hybrid - Pleniere C & Teams | REGISTER HERE(link is external)
This session will share evidence and tools to strengthen people- and child-centred approaches in humanitarian response, drawing on experiences from four diverse contexts.

2) Child Protection in the Context of Climate Crises: Addressing Intersectionality in Humanitarian Action
🗓 26 March | 9:00 - 10:30 CET | 📍Hybrid - Amphitheatre D & Zoom | REGISTER HERE(link is external)
This session will explore how the climate crisis affects child protection in humanitarian settings and how we can develop intersectional, child-centred solutions.

Both sessions will provide valuable insights, practical tools, and space for discussion with practitioners, advocates, and colleagues working to protect children in humanitarian settings.

Please feel free to also visit the Alliance booth in the exhibition area to chat with our experts!

Register now through the HNPW platform and be part of these critical discussions. We hope to see you there!
