The new Strategic Brief from the Alliance outlines how the sector can adapt and continue delivering essential child protection services amid funding shortfalls and structural changes to the humanitarian system.
With the goal of ensuring the continuity of critical prevention and response interventions, the Strategic Brief sets out a unified vision: to adapt programming approaches to today’s challenges while upholding humanitarian principles and protecting children’s rights.
The Brief focuses on three strategic priorities:
- Advocacy: Putting children and their protection at the centre of humanitarian action through evidence-informed advocacy.
- Technical Leadership: Supporting quality programming through updated tools, learning opportunities, and technical guidance aligned with the CPMS.
- Collective Action & Innovation: Enabling Alliance members to reflect, innovate, and invest in solutions that ensure the continuity of child protection efforts.
