CPHA Learning Resource Mapping
Updated August 2024
The Child Protection in Humanitarian Action Learning Resource Mapping supports CPHA sectoral L&D efforts in different ways:
- Firstly, it allows us to gather a better understanding of gaps in the learning opportunities offer, and guide recommendations for further investments
- Secondly, if kept updated it will be useful in avoiding duplication of efforts where resources already exist
- Thirdly, it can be useful in keeping a track record of the need for translation and updating of learning resources.
The CPHA Learning Resources Mapping includes:
- Learning packages - facilitated learning events which bring a group of participants together in person, or via an online video calling platform.
- E-courses - learning modules or activities which learners can complete on their own, in their own time, using a computer or device. Usually less than 2 hours long.
- MOOCs - Massive Open Online Courses. Open-access, self-paced online courses which aims to reach a large audience. Usually completed over several weeks.
