Alternative Care in Emergency Survey on Needs, Approaches, and Gaps
The Alliance Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC) Task Force is undertaking this survey to understand:
- What alternative care needs exist in a range of humanitarian and crisis-prone contexts
- What approaches have been developed to address these needs
- What gaps exist in how to work effectively with children in alternative care
This short survey is aimed at child protection and alternative care practitioners working in humanitarian crises. It will provide valuable feedback to inform the prioritization and development of further approaches and resources for alternative care:
- For a diverse range of children
- During all phases of a Humanitarian Response from emergency preparedness and anticipatory action, to the initial phases of a response, in protracted and on-going crises and during post-crisis recovery.
The result of this survey will support project design to strengthen alternative care practices, update the ACE Toolkit and to identify and address key gaps in resources/tools.
The survey should take about 30 minutes to complete and we would appreciate your feedback by September 20th 2024. Kindly click the following links to take the Survey in your preferred language: Arabic, English, French, and Spanish.
We value your input. Thank you for your time.
