The L&D Working Group of the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action invites you to join a webinar on Life Skills Adaptations during COVID-19.
This Webinar will present two country-level adaptations and one online adaptation of life skills training during the COVID-19 pandemic. Life skills programming remains a critical element of child protection work in humanitarian settings, including promoting behavior change and providing critical skills for children and caregivers adapting to a crisis.
This webinar will present country-level examples shared by DRC in Lebanon and IRC in Tanzania, as well as an online training series with Clowns without Borders and Plan International. The webinar will cover the following:
- Remote PSS program for adolescents and caregivers providing behavior change outcomes in Lebanon.
- ‘Positive parenting’ and other life skills program adaptations to continue implementation with COVID-19 restrictions in Tanzania camp setting.
- “Laughter and Play” virtual training: blended (online/offline) training approach with Clowns without Borders and Plan International.
