These are some examples of themes that have been the focus of past annual meetings:

• Preventing Harm to Children 
• Promoting the Centrality of Children and their Protection through Accountability, Localisation and Working Across Sectors 

The working objectives of this year’s meeting are to: 

1. Support child protection practitioners, local actors and other sectors to exchange knowledge and experience from a range of contexts and engage in technical discussions.
2. Engage key stakeholders in strategic discussions on how to strengthen collective action on child protection in humanitarian action
