The Standard Operating Procedures template (SOPs) is a practical resource used to guide Child Protection actors in defining roles, responsibilities and relationships between different people involved in the case-management system. The SOPs will articulate and contextualize the local (and legal) processes involved in each step of managing a case, including service mapping and referral system, the method and process for working with children, and the system for managing information.

The folder also includes:

The service directory template that guides Child Protection actors in identifying formal and informal child protection service providers in a geographical and programmatic scope. A continuous and regular mapping of services available in the different operational areas should be carried out in order to regularly update the service directories

The Referral Pathways Template that guides Child Protection actors in establishing a referral mechanism between agencies and/or government departments. Focal points and services for referrals within each agency will be identified to ensure the needs of the child can be fully addressed.

The CMTF Terms of Reference template which can be used to guide the development of country-level Case Management Task Force's in establishing the purpose, function, and roles / responsibilities of agencies.
