Webinar | Child Well-being Matters: Global Dissemination of Study Findings

To learn about this study, find the Research Brief here.
Child protection case management is a critical response service for children facing family separation, neglect, abuse, violence, or exploitation, particularly in humanitarian contexts. Despite advancements in the sector over the past decade, there remains a significant lack of evidence on the effectiveness of case management practices in emergency settings.
The "Child Wellbeing Matters: Improving Case Management Practice through Research" project addresses this evidence gap by evaluating the impact of case management interventions. This research, led collaboratively by Universidad de los Andes and the International Rescue Committee (IRC), in partnership with the Alliance, identifies components of case management that effectively improve child wellbeing and examines their long-term impact.
The findings also serve to inform practical tools and resources for frontline case management teams, ultimately strengthening the child protection sector globally.

- Present practioners tools to monitor child wellbeing and satisfaction in case management
- Support evidence-based decision-making for strengthening, modifying, or discontinuing aspects of case management services to better support children’s wellbeing.
