To encourage the growth and professionalisation of the sector, leading with strategic insights on defining priorities for capacity strengthening, partnerships with tertiary-level institutions, and the provision of holistic, equitable, and accessible approaches to sharing capacity, skills, and knowledge within the sector.

2025-2026 Learning and Development (L&D) Working Group Objectives

  • Coordinate and align Learning and Development initiatives across technical areas and stakeholders, emphasising co-creation and capacity sharing with local partners.
  • Promote access to high-quality learning resources via platforms such as the Kaya Alliance Learning Hub, the CPHA Community of Practice, and Trainers’ Network.
  • Explore and integrate responsible AI tools to personalise learning experiences, enhance language accessibility, and support real-time content adaptation based on user behaviour and needs.
  • Strengthen evidence generation through case studies and context-specific reviews on the impact of quality Learning and Development initiatives.
  • Support a hybrid approach to learning—prioritising face to face regional workshops where possible while also organising virtual trainings—to strengthen localised capacity, foster peer to peer exchange, and deepen practitioner connections across contexts.
